March 2018 into SUCCESS


I should have posted this on the 1st of March but I was juggling so many things and writing a post just didn't fit in.

So, anyways is MARCH and a very good time for bakers all over the world. This month sets the tone for the rest of the year because wedding / events season officially kicked off after Valentine's day due to the engagement proposals and am sure millions of young ladies or need I say (MEN) 🙈 depending on sexual preferences said Yes!!!

Is time to give discounts on your services as bakers, YES! discounts. Is wedding season and lots of bakers 'll run promo and discounts on their cakes / Pastries. You can run a good and attractive discount without running at loss. Discount could mean incentives. Like, order for this and get this at a discounted rate.

CHARGE your worth. Bargaining could be a tricky one and the pressure to not let the customer walk away could make you lose your profit and even part of your savings if you don't bargain properly. So, in as much as you want to keep the potential client don't give away your profit because you are building an empire and not running a charity organisation.

Do lots of tasting, maybe 2ce a month and let it be free for all potential brides. Don't just post cakes on your page, post Banners on your social media handles about your services, tasting and promos.

Run ads with US on our page. Instagram has gone beyond number of followers, is now about the IMPRESSIONS. The impressions on @naijabakers on Instagram is huge because we are constantly posting. At times we have over 20k impressions in 7 days, trust me that means your work gets displayed to hundreds and thousands of potential customers. People have gotten lots of customers through the blog and we receive the thank You's. Advert is the 21st century for business growth. DM or WhatsApp for advert rates and don't forget to tell a fellow baker to follow us.

Above all, trust God, let your inner power shine, be confident and embrace your STRENGHT.

Devon Kings Margarine

I love trying new products especially made by trusted brands and I did try the Newly launched Devon Kings Margarine and it was all shades of amazing. The aroma, the texture, the colour, super easy to cream with sugar and very smooth and silky for buttercream. It is only 150 for a 250g sachet in the Nigerian market and I would love every baker to buy at least one and give it a try. When you use it, I will love a feedback.
