NAIJA BAKERS "TOP BAKERS SERIES 2" Celebrating Mr. Tosan Jemide "CAKES BY TOSAN at 50


Nigeria's foremost sugar craft genius @cakesbytosan is 50 years today and the entire cake industry is buzzing about it.

His name is Tosan Jemide the CEO Cakes by Tosan, Celebration by Tosan and Top Crust Bakery. He studied sociology at the University of Ibadan.  He single handedly placed the Nigerian cake industry on the global map by creating the 1st ever tallest cake in Africa, a giant 28 feet cake.

His venture into the cake industry was born out of passion due to his mother's baking prowess. He mastered his craft in the UK and came back to Nigeria to revamp the cake industry especially in the area of Sugar Craft, creating breathtaking edible images using sugar.

Ask bakers at all level in Nigeria to name 3 bakers in Nigeria who inspires them, trust his name will inarguably be in the top 3.

Happy birthday sir, to the man who has paved the way for millions of bakers all over the world and has made blogging for bloggers like myself fun.

I love trying new products especially made by trusted brands and I did try the Newly launched Devon Kings Margarine and it was all shades of amazing. The aroma, the texture, the colour, super easy to cream with sugar and very smooth and silky for buttercream. It is only 150 for a 250g sachet in the Nigerian market and I would love every baker to buy at least one and give it a try. When you use it, I will love a feedback.
